Performing Company Director
Rebecca Smith started her dance career as a
Highland Dance Competitor, winning 15 medals and trophies. She danced in the
Joffrey Ballet Concert Group’s “Romeo & Juliet,” the Pennsylvania-Milwaukee
Ballet , the Scottish-American Ballet , the Nevada Dance Theatre , and the world
famous Siegfried & Roy Show. There she had the opportunity to dance for over
four million people including two US presidents.
Rebecca retired from the stage to
marry her husband and move to Alaska. She has instructed at numerous studios,
professional ballet company schools, universities, and performing arts high schools,
and now serves as the Artistic Director, the Junior Company Director, and the
Technical Director for Dance Theatre Fairbanks. |
