Seneca R. (Artistic Director, Ensemble Director, Contemporary):  Seneca was born and raised in Burns Lake BC, Canada. She began dancing at age nine. Trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Musical Theater, she has also tried many other styles from Salsa to Hip-Hop to Break Dancing and African beats. Seneca moved to Fairbanks twenty years ago, and has been teaching at Dance Theatre Fairbanks for over ten years. Seneca loves to expand her knowledge of the body and it’s movement, and is passionate about sharing her skills and knowledge with her students.

Logan N. (Hip Hop): Logan has been a part of Dance Theatre Fairbanks since just before her third birthday. During her time at DTF she has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theater, you name it! She has attended several Dance Intensives and participated in seven International Dance Festivals. Dance Theatre Fairbanks has been a major part of Logan’s life for over 25 years and she enjoys sharing her love for dance with the upcoming generations. When she’s not at the dance studio teaching, you can find Logan at her “Big Girl” job as an Emergency Department Nurse.

Sara M. (Tap): Sara has been dancing at Dance Theatre Fairbanks since she was seven years old, after she watched DTF’s production of The Little Match Girl. Sara came full circle when, eleven years later, she got to star in The Little Match Girl during her senior year. Sara has been teaching dance classes since college and enjoys watching her students strive and thrive over the years. Sara loves to try all sorts of activities from different dance styles to aerial arts to skiing and hiking.
